Making History Students

In July of 2017, twenty-eight high school students from across the Bay Area attended the Making History Summer Program at UC Berkeley. In order to learn about local history, the students participated in field studies to the Oakland Museum of California, New Deal sites in Berkeley, the Rosie the Riveter WWII Home Front National Historic Park in Richmond, and the MIS Learning Center in the San Francisco Presidio. With these students we piloted the curricular modules available on this website, and they gave invaluable feedback on the process of learning and making history.

UCBHSSP would like to thank the following Historymakers for their meaningful contributions to our shared work!
