2025 Newcomer Initiative Summer Institute

The UC Berkeley History Social Science Projectis excited to present our 2025 Newcomer Initiative Summer Institute This 3 day in-person institute will address the diverse language needs of newcomer students.  Teams of educators are encouraged to attend as they learn strategies to modify instruction for Multilingual Learners and Newcomers Students. Participants will apply the strategies to their own curriculum with guidance and feedback. These strategies can be brought back to school sites and applied to many different instructional contexts.
