When China and Rome Ruled (Half) the World

UCBHSSP teachers are invited to this Saturday workshop at the Asian Art Museum

Uncover what life was like during the Han Dynasty and learn what luxury burial objects can tell us about culture and daily life in China’s most powerful ancient empire. Participants will compare and contrast the Han and Roman Empires through a scholar talk, model lesson, and tour of the special exhibition Tomb Treasures: New Discoveries from China’s Han Dynasty. This workshop includes a gallery tour, curriculum resources, a continental breakfast and light lunch.
