Project Co-Director, Phyllis Goldsmith, and Site Director Rachel B. Reinhard, updated Access for All Learners. The second edition incporporates UCBHSSP's learning based on work with teachers over the past three years, with particular attention to the integration of historical thinking and approaches to planning and instruction based on California's newly adopted History-Social Science Framework.

The text addresses the methodology behind our academic literacy approach to increasing student learning and including new reading, writing, and thinking strategies.   

Teachers found the first edition of this text, in combination with a workshop series, helpful for reinforcing learning and serving as a ready reference.
