Ms. Leary has been Director of the UC Berkeley History-Social Science Project since 1996. She directs the 2006-2009 Mt. Diablo Unified School District Teaching American History Grant and partnered with the 2008-2011 Oakland Teaching American History Grant. |

Phyllis Goldsmith
Co-Director & Academic Literacy Specialist
Ms. Goldsmith has been with the UCBH-SSP since 2003 as a consultant and academic literacy specialist. In 2008, she officially joined the UC Berkeley staff as Project Co-director. Ms. Goldsmith also holds the positions of the statewide literacy coordinator for the CHSSP and the UC Berkeley Instructional Liason to CAL Prep. |

Lauren Weaver
Teaching American History (TAH) Grant Coordinator for MDUSD
Ms. Weaver coordinates the TAH Grant with the Mt. Diablo Unified School District and is responsible for the rigor of the grant. Before joining UCBH-SSP she taught high school history for eight years. |

Carlos Noreña

Brian DeLay
