War and Displacement (Global History Series)
"War and Displacement" is the first of three Saturday sessions for teachers exploring the Movement of People in the contemporary world. This session will include a lecture exploring the movement of Syrian refugees to Europe and a model lesson, which explores the impact of war on children.
This program is open to all teachers. Tenth and eleventh grade teachers are especially invited to register. **REGISTRATION CLOSED**
NOTE: This event is free, but we require a $50 deposit to hold your space. It will be returned at the workshop. Make the $50 check payable to UC Regents. Be sure to write "War and Displacement - Jan.23" on the message line. This event is sponsored by the Center for Middle Eastern Studies.
